Fatzael Springs and ancient and modern water system in Fatzael Valley in the west side of Jordan Valley מעיינות פצאל נובעים בנחל פצאל חלק מבקעת פצאל בצידו המערבי של בקעת הירדן. בקעת פצאל היתה מיושבת עוד בתקופה הכלקוליתית. בתקופת הורדוס הוקם היישוב פצאליס אשר שכן בין היישוב פצאל ותומר של המאה ה20. לצורך ניצול המים הוקמה עוד בתקופות עתיקות מערכת אמת מים על צלע ההר אשר העבירה את המים מהמעיינות. ביציאה מואדי פצאל הוקמה בריכת אגירת מים המתוארכת לפחות לתקופת בית אומיה, ויש השערות שעתיקותה מגיעה גם לתקופתו של הורדוס. נמצאו אבנים הרודיניות בתחתית הקיר של בריכת האגירה נקודת נביעה של אחד המעיינות |
